Vaccine Distribution

Vaccine priorities affect the spread of COVID-19 in the full population and especially among those most at risk of COVID-19. For instance, some states prioritize essential workers who have high exposure to COVID-19 at work and on their commutes for vaccination, while other states focus on prioritizing by age thresholds. Vaccine priorities may affect COVID-19 overall and racial, ethnic, and income disparities in COVID-19.

To see the order in which different groups are prioritized for vaccines, select a report from the drop-down menu. You can see how states and the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) prioritize your chosen group of people in COVID-19 vaccine allocation phases.
